We live in an architecturally rich community, starting in downtown LA and spreading outward. Who designed LA? In Pasadena, we hear much about Greene & Greene, Myron Hunt, and many other architects that have defined both the aesthetic and our lifestyle here. But, what about downtown? The Maloney Group is sponsoring this upcoming lecture by author and architectural historian Romy Wylie and organized by the Alhambra Preservation Group to shed light on Bertram Goodhue, whose work defines much of Southern California’s landscape. We have been involved with Alhambra Preservation for many years, and each program they bring to the community inspires, educates, and gives us all many more reasons to appreciate the architectural integrity of our neighborhoods.
